Magnifocus

MAGNIFOCUS

A monolith with a ripped steel opening, the Magnifocus plays with fire, creating the impression of a flame-licked explosion. Each of these waxed raw steel fireplaces comes numbered and signed by creator Dominique Imbert, who first designed the Magnifocus in a larger form in 1987. The Magnifocus's exploded look has earned considerable notoriety, and was selected for the Premio Design Italiano in Rome.
